We have 25 years of experience in dealing with pregnancy related issues. In fact Nick ran an Expectant Mother's Clinic
in a busy primary care setting with GP's in Fulham for 20 years. In an area of London so populated by child bearing women at the time, he was shocked
at how little treatment was available for them.
He successfully treated sacro-iliac, sciatic, disc and symphysis pubis problems to name a few.
He also ran a post natal clinic for feeding related problems as well as pelvic floor pain and dysfunction.
The 'physicality' of having other children to care for whilst pregnant and often without help, meant that they got 'buggy back' 'hitch-hip' and 'feeding-neck'. All of which we could relieve or eradicate.
Here at the hospital we are ideally setup in a safe and clean environment to manage all of your needs. We are child friendly and welcome your other children whilst you are treated. Our staff are friendly and welcoming and will do their very best to help.
Having a baby is probably the most special time in a woman's life. It is a time of great change in all aspects of their life.It is also a time when their body undergoes an amazing set of changes physically, hormonally and emotionally. Structurally, a woman's pelvis and spine completely changes its position, tone and function over the 9 months. During this process, small 'glitches' can occur causing pain which can be mild to debilitating and makes a special time miserable.
Many women suffer in silence accepting the problem as something which is just part of the burden of pregnancy. This couldn't be further from the truth. If it was possible we would like to see all women at the start of the pregnancy to assess any potential problem areas which may become an issue further along in the pregnancy as the baby gets bigger.
None of the techniques we use are dangerous to mother or child at any stage. In fact mother's probably put more strain through their bodies turning in bed or getting out of a car than anything we do to them.
The results can be truly miraculous.
